First we went to a science website to do this then we measured the water in the tube
in this assignment i learned how to measure and about how to measure the volume of an object
i under stood the chapter pretty well.

SCIENCE FAIR PROJECT:Bristle bots
Statement of the Problem: what type of bristle makes a bot go faster
Use this: Which type of toothbrush bristle-straight or slanted, will make a Bristlebot move the fastest? +10 points

Bristle bots are like tooth brushes with motors.
A bot has speed bristles and vibration to make movement happen. Have you ever been on a massage chair and jiggled out of your seat? That is called vibration. Vibration is when movement occurs. That's how a bristle bot moves. They need all of the following things to make that happen: bristles, slanted, strait, bot, inertia, vibration, movement, and motor.
Vibration happens when the bristles and the motor work together to make movement. The bristles are longer than the plastic piece, so they take in the vibration to make movement. Vibration is how movement happens and how we race the bots.
The vibration from the motor makes the bot move. The bristles are straight/slanted to make it gain speed. The vibrations are higher and weaker to the size of the motors. The size of the motors can make the speed increase or decrease. The vibrations make the bot move forward.
The bots have to to have to have vibration, speed, movement, and bristles to make it go, but the real question is: does the way the bristles are slanted/straight matter? Vibration is the thing that makes the bot go so you need that, and you need a motor for it to vibrate.
Vibration is what speeds up the bot, and makes it go the way of the bristle affects the speed of the bots.when the motor stops the bot will stop because of the vibration is the reason it will stop the bristles will not move.
Vibration makes the bot go or stop. In order for a bot to move it has to have vibration. The force of vibration must be better than inertia. The inertia is the fact that something in motion stays in motion. Something that is still tends to stay still.
That's why the vibration has to be of great proportion to start moving at a high speed, but the bristles are another thing that matters.
The angle of the bristles affects the speed. The straight/slanted bristle might make the amount of vibration that travels through the bristles move slow.
A bot that does not have a motor is just a tooth brush so the motor is very important. You can't have a bristle bot with no motor so there for a bots most important part or key word is a motor.
You can't forget the bristles though. The bristles make it stand and move every part together to make a bot.

Hypothesis: The slanted toothbrush bristles will make a Bristlbot go faster than a Bristlebot with straight bristles, because the slanted bristles have better leverage.

Variables:
The independent variable which will be changed and tested is the type of bristle-slanted and straight.
The dependent variable will measure the change by the speed in which the Bristlebots travel, measured in meters/sec.
The constant variables for all of the tests are the same: Bristlebot track motor, testing area, size of bristle from each type of toothbrush, and same timing device.

Procedure of Investigation
Two standard crest tooth brushes two small motors two small rechargeable battery's
And last some scotch tape
Procedure:
You make a race way out of wood and a stop watch then build the bot
Perform the experiment on the first independent variable
Put the slanted bot on the track start bot and stop watch at the same time
Collect the results for each test by the time them with stop watch
Repeat the test more times. Calculate and record the average for the tests
Repeat test 2 times calculate and record the average fo
Repeat the same procedure for the remaining independent variables
Put the bot on track and start that along with the stop watch.

Results
The average results for each independent variable are as follows: the slanted bristle Bristlebot traveled the raceway in 15 seconds. The straight bristle Bristlebot finished the raceway in 20 seconds.

Conclusion:
The hypothesis was that the slanted toothbrush bristles will make a Bristlbot go faster than a Bristlebot with straight bristles, because the slanted bristles have better leverage.
The results showed that the slanted was faster and had a better time than a Bristlebot with straight bristles.
Therefore the hypothesis was supported.

Future Study
the experimenter would like to know if the type of toothbrush will affect the distance and the speed. the bot can be made from the same motor toothbrush battery and tape the weight that can effect the speed effecting the distance. the surface can effect the bot majorly.

Abstract:
The problem is Which type of toothbrush bristle-straight or slanted, will make a Bristlebot move the fastest?
It is hypothesized that the slanted toothbrush bristles will make a Bristlbot go faster than a Bristlebot with straight bristles, because the slanted bristles have better leverage.
A brief procedure of the experiment is as follows
A bot on a race way using the same battery power and the same starting line it was measurements in seconds their were three tests.
The results do support the hypothesis.

IN this assignment i had to do a menu item we call it were we have a selection of thing to do i pick one were you had to pick five sports That deal with accuracy. I found that basically every sport deals with accuracy one way or an other.
2 goals i have is to be more of a reader and to get more interested in science.
